Just to summarise my views on the following bridal shops i visited/seen. These are my personal views :-
1) J&C (Clark Quay) - Basic package: $5K. Not hard selling. Designer is very friendly and professional. Gowns concentrate more on lace. Photography is outsourced to other firms.
2) Flamingo (Tanjong Pagar) - Basic package: $5K. Not hard selling. Designer is not around when we go. The gowns are simple and creative. Photography is outsourced to other firms.
3) U Bridal (Tanjong Pagar) - Basic package: $2K+. Quite Hard selling. It is a new shop set up, so the gowns are very new but not many. Their photos are developed by Kodak, very nice. The Shop asst refused to give negatives even if we offered to pay. Give us the impression that they are not very negotiable.
4) Everbliss (Suntec, Plaza Sing) - Basic package: $2K. Very hard selling. We signed up at their road show. My personal opinion is their gowns are more towards to taiwanese style, heard that they import their gowns from Malaysia but i am not sure. However their photographs samples shown are very nice.
5) Christian Creation (also called IN Wedding, Mr and Mrs Wedding) (Tanjong Pagar) - Basic package: $2K. Super hard selling style. I think their reputation is very bad in the mkt. Anyway the lady promoter refuse to let us left her shop. Their fotos are nice, their gowns are nice (though a bit taiwanese style) but their selling style sucks.. Anyway i heard their after sales service is not good, i dun know true or not. We were rather turned off by their selling tactics.
6) J&M (Tanjong Pagar) - Basic package: $2K+. Hard selling style. Their designer is quite nice and i am confident of his designing skills. However Gowns pretty too, but not many choices and some too old ored. So far, their package is the only one i seen which gave back all the negatives taken. Their package is indeed very attractive. Photographs and makeup also very nice (seen from their bridal show).
7) Yvonne Creative (Tanjong Pagar) - Basic package: $2K+. Quite hard selling style. Their gowns are very pretty and many selections and choices. But we didn't really like their photographs, find the samples shown not up to standard.
8) Bridal Concept (Liang Seah Street/Bugis) - Basic package: $2K+. Quite hard selling style. Our chosen choice.. they have 2 storey shophouse with gowns.. so far happy with their service.. so far so good haaa.
